Introduction
The Office of the City Clerk has records relating to all Marriage Licenses issued by the New York City Office of the City Clerk from 1930 to the present. Upon submitting a Record Request, you will receive a Confirmation Number. To complete your request, you must bring your payment, Confirmation Number, proper identification, and any additional required documentation to the Office of the City Clerk or you may mail in your application materials along with your payment.
You may obtain a Marriage Record from 1996 to the present in person at any of the City Clerk's office locations. Marriage Records from 1930 through 1995 are only available from the Record Room Division located at the Manhattan Office.
